Conceal carry hk usp full size

Folks,

I'm a big guy (6'6", 450 lbs). I've tried compact guns but they are just too small for my hand. I put that hk in my hand and it fits perfectly. How do you carry an hk usp 9mm concealed?

You would probably have to go with a shoulder rig. I don't think I have ever seen a IWB for a full size. I do have two leather holsters that I have tried to use with a longer shirt but it didn't work too well for me. I will have to dig them out and see what they are.

You could use a Fanny pack our other bag, but to me that is to obvious.

You could consider open carry if it is legal in your state. That would give you more holster options.

Check out Link Removed. If a 5'6" 140lb woman can conceal a USPc with only slight wardrobe changes I don't see any reason a full size USP won't work for you.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear but I have been in the same situation for years. 3 best options are. Switch to smaller gun (j frame has a million grips to fit and practice with it will become natural) in the pocket is most comfortable. 2 In the waistband is uncomfortable but I switched to suspenders to assist and that does help. 3 just bought a shoulder harness which works great with a jacket but in texas when is it cold enough for a jacket. let me know if you figure out a better way.

I believe a shoulder harness requires a jacket.

I checked my holsters, Both are made by Bianchi, models #5 and #7. Either may work for you for concealment if you wore the right clothes. I'm sure you can find others that may work with a little google legwork.

Here is what I have found so far, Bianchi actually makes two IWB holsters for the fullsize.
Model 6 *Waistband Holster Bianchi Leather Holsters
Model 6D *ATB™ Waistband Holster Bianchi Leather Holsters

I'm not a fan of either, i prefer a holster with a belt clip on both sides of the holster for stability. I also found this OWB that migh work.
Galco holsters; Holsters; Gun holster, pistol holsters, western holsters, shoulder holsters, leather holster and Glock holsters

You could also look at a custom holster. I had one made buy this guy amd I love it. Its the striker.

The problem with custom is you don't have a return option.

If this is helping let me know, if not I will just mosey on.

6'1" 340# my CBST works well with my Glock 17. Suspenders to carry the weight and a long vest to cover.

I like the Rugged Comfort where you thread the belt through the loops on the suspenders. The elastic on these is stronger than other suspenders I have had. Of course with the old suspenders they were laughing at my carpenters butt too much to notice that I was printing. If you don't like these they have many others to choose from. I found them very helpful and with an excellent knowledge of their inventory.

Tucker Gunleather lists H&K USP under several categories. For IWB I highly recommend their "The Answer".

Gotta tell you guys I went through a pile ( 8-10) of holsters, spine, IWB, Shoulder, before I bought my Dillon leather pancake, and it has held up beautifully over the years, just hit it with a bit of black shoe polish once in a while...

::man_in_love: Ok. here is what I did. I bought an H&K HK45C and ordered this holster Link Removed It is handmade and takes six weeks to get but well worth it. I hate to post from another forum but on HKPro there is a guy who posted pics of his jr custom holster and he is a bigger guy. It should be here in about5 weeks. I'll post pics. It is made specifically for the HK45C.
