Hello everyone. I'm new to this site and am interested in competition shooting. Can anyone give me some info on how to get started. I have a Savage 111 in 6.5/284. It's very accurate, but I'm tired of shooting paper for fun. I would like to do benchrest comp.
I am no benchrester, but your local library is a great place to start. order books from the interlibrary loan system. Google for the sort of matches you wish to compete in. something should come up, Or the NRA, American Rifleman Mag, or Rifle mag should be findable on google and then talk to you by email or on the phone.
