I'm not disagreeing with the principle behind this bill, but WHO is Sponsoring/Co-Sponsoring this bill. I would not classify any of them as Patroits, but more like socialists. Do they think this is going to buy themselves "points".... ?

Surely is a pokitical ploy. There are untold millions of vets who would get it. Just about everybody who was in the service after WW2. Kind of reminds me of the first medal I got in the Air Force after bootcamp...expert rifleman. Even if you couldn't hit the target the DI would have you punch the proper amount of holes on your target with a sharp pencil thereby qualifying everyone for the medal. Sure made th the folks proud, though!. Back in 1966 the Air Force pulled the best political ploy ever attempted. They changed the ranking system. At the time I was an E-4, Airman 1st class. One Day I received a 25 page promotion list with my name on it. I was still an E-4 but now I was a sergeant. It didn.t cost the AF anything except for the paper and by act of congress I became an NCO. And because of the name change I got to go to NCO School along with about a million other guys. God, were my parents proud of me.:hang3:

They authorized a Certificate a few years back. I never sent in my application . Link Removed Link Removed
