PBS last Monday did a fine job explaining the so called "magic bullet" that hit both JFK and Texas Governor John Connally.

Through the marvel of modern ballistics, visual and audio techniques, they put to rest forever the lie that Oswald's second shot did not hit both men.

It most certainly did and is proven beyond a doubt in this documentary.IMO. Here is the entire hour. Watch and come to your own conclusions:

BTW,on THR this subject was locked after only 2 posts. So,obviously the topic, even after 50 years ,remains quite incendiary. To put it mildly. We will do better here without any doubt!

OTOH, there was another recent documentary that claims that that shot actually glanced off a bone in JFK, angled up and hit the windshield/windshield frame on the limo. Be that as it may, there's so much baloney floating around about this event due to the mishandling of the original investigation and evidence that we wouldn't recognize the truth if it should ever come out.

I'll do that. I've already got enough books on the subject to stop a lot of doors! It'll be interesting to see how he handles the botched autopsy and the disappearing rifle, just to name a couple of things. Then, of course, there's the missing movie film and all of the conveniently dead witnesses.

Yep, a lot of stuff to cover. But Vince does it all, in what he "modestly" calls his, "Magnum Opus!" Took me 3 months to plow through, but at the finale, I was a "Vince" believer. YMMV!

I watched the PBS documentary as well as another on the history channel. Very interesting. I'm curious to know what is in those files that are still locked away from our view.
.

I noticed a large contrast between democrats of 1963 and those of today; while I also see commonality between today's progressive liberal and Oswald. The Democrat party of past had some common sense. JFK was the image of the party in the 50's and 60's. And Oswald was the fringe. But after watching a few assassination documentaries this week I realized they changed places. JFK was a supporter of the second amendment and an NRA member. Oswald was a socialist Marxist who hated capitalism. The Democrat party of today looks more like Oswald than JFK. They espouse violent ideals (Martin Bashir comments on Sarah Palin, Oprah's recent comment that older whites should be killed). They despise success and capitalism. They promote the agenda of the workers party. They embrace socialism and they hate the NRA or anyone with a gun. Had Oswald waited he would have eventually seen an America more in line with his views. Liberal America IS Lee Harvey Oswald.

A very cogent, thought provoking post. Ideas about LHO that I had not previously considered. And if he had lived, he would still be "only" 74 today, Thank you,BC1.

Ain't that the truth! I'm in agreement one hundred percent.
