I like the part where it states that it filters water but doesn't purify it. At least they are truthful. That's about all I can say good about any of these types of filters.

SHort of chlorine tablets, I don't know what purifies water other than boiling. But, I have used this filter extensively, and I'm still around! I does what it is supposed to do.

And back in the day people drank straight out of lakes. Kids played in the dirt and mud and nothing happened to them either. That doesn't make this filter any better than snake oil.

With all the hype about water being polluted by filter salesmen all over the world, it's no wonder people think they need to filter their water. Believe it or not, tap water is far better for you than RO water for drinking, but millions won't drink the water unless it has some kind of majic filter under the sink.

The worse kind of pollutants in water are chemicals which can't be filtered out by any one of the filters your talking about. The rest of the turbidity won't hurt you anyway.
