Here's a live stream of the local CBS affiliate (KCAL).

News is showing a junction down the road from the standoff where every vehicle coming down off the mountain is being searched at gun point. What's up with that? I thought they knew they had Dorner holed up in the cabin back up the hill?

Look for the cabin to burn to the ground before the night is over. I mean, it is Superman in there after all. You don't think cops will actually face him down in a frontal assault, do you? They'll have to rename the area, "Waco of San Berdu."

Also strange, what does LAPD have to do with any of this? The first two murders happened in Irvine (Orange County) and the cop that was killed was in Riverside. Supposedly a SWAT team is being airlifted to the cabin. Are they San Bernadino, Riverside, or LAPD? Weird stuff going on out there.

I am thinking the same thing. What in the hell is going on? A the one cop has his gun drawn and then he is searching the cars.
A.) When did the constitution change?
He can certainly ask to open the doors but has not freaking right to just open the doors.

Yep, the CBS stream that I linked to has their copter back over the area now that it's been decided to burn the MF'er down. They're showing it close enough to see the flames now.

I had San Berdu scanner stream going on my phone. Heard:

"Burners deployed and we have fire in the front of the building".

They set the fire. Why else the term burners deployed?

JUst heard on the police radio they won't pour water on it until it is collapsed on the basement of the cabin.

Jeez.
They are discussing the construction of the basement because they want to cook him if he is the basement.

After the fire started and before the ammo starting going off there was a single shot...Chris may have taken his own life...If so he went out on his terms.


I think there was no way of a win in this incident for the PD or Chris.
