China tells the US not to report on bad air in China

Charlie...China do not have a right to tell us what to report and what not to. We are just observers outside of their country. We have our own leaders and it is not them. We have freedom of speech and unfortunately, they don't.
But what the Chinese object to is our reporting from China, not from this Country. We have an air-quality monitor in our embasssy in Beijing; that's what the Chinese don't like. Of course that don't have freedom of speech there.
That is so people can freeze to death in the dark.

charlie ever hear of teslas technology? and you should know by now that we don't need nuclear reactors to give free energy to each and ever home and business on this planet again i reiterate we have better cleaner and safer technologies! yet suppressed until the big whigs can use it to their advantage and profiteering racket .....do you know many scientists including tesla were murdered to keep such technology from general public and other upstarts

Charlie...now you have thinking. A long time ago, I knew that when it comes to embassies, they are an island of their own even if they are situated in another country. From my very little understanding, correct me if I am wrong, China where one of our embassies is located, the Americans owns that jurisdiction -- what they do, what they say, is theirs (the US Embassy is considered as "Little America") -- it is NOT China. For instance if one of the communist country's citizen decided to seek asylum in the US Embassy and the US Embassy accept that person, China won't be able to do anything about it if the US decided to take that person to the US mainland eventually. The politics of it all should ensure that the subject who seek asylum while he is under the US wing of that country and yet the two countries will be able to tell one another the act they are going to commit just as a matter of respect. So going with what I said before, China shouldn't be able to tell the US what to report from their country and what not to. Am I wrong or am I confusing myself?

No, you are not wrong, Mom. But not all countries abide by international law. Think of Iran in 1979. If China wanted to violate our rights in our embassy in Beijing, we couldn't do anything except complain to the unUnited Nations. But in principle, of course, you are correct.

Wow, first you post on another thread how you live Hanoi Jane and now the no nukes lines. With your rhetoric, you are ready, fire, aim as that's the group you seem to be identifying with. That being said.....Please tell me how a nuclear power plant contributes to the smog in Beijing, or anywhere else for that matter?? Maybe since I learned of how nuke plants work they started burning the uranium and giving off smoke. Who knows??

The "media" is already not reporting on the air quality in China! What is new about this?
Did you know that the most 16 polluted cities in the world are in China? Did you know that LA (our most polluted city) is (or was last year) only #42? No, you probably didn't if you get your news from ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/MSNBC/CNBC/NPR/PBS/NYT/Washington Post or other commun...uhhh....Democrat party-controlled media outlet. I don't think that Fox reported on it either.
Who knows what our nuke plants are doing now? Especially since there has not been ground broken on a new nuclear power plant in the US since Gerald Ford was president! To listen to the idiot libs you'd think we put a new one up every week. We should be though, with the latest technology they can now be built in 1/4 the time and 10 times more efficient.
The libs would have us getting our energy by....uhhhh....hmmmm....I really can't think of a way that they would be totally ok with. They now are beginning to cry about the solar panel and wind farms killing bugs and birds.
We can't even do it by rubbing two sticks together....they won't let us cut the sticks.

If we did everything the the progressive left wanted us to do, we would all be back in the stone age. That's why I laugh at a cliches like "Moving Forward" or their use of the word "Progress" in general. It is in fact, an oxymoron. There is no progress, only regression. They take 130 year old ideas that did not work, change the name to something that sounds good, proceed to shove it down everyone else's throat over and over, all the while, exempting themselves from the outcome. erm chernobyl and the recent japan nuclear power incidents didn't alarm you??? i think germany said they were shutting down several of theirs and if the usa was smart they would take down those all along the meridian fault line as well .......again i say to you we have better more effective safe and cleaner technology and it's high time to put it to use
Would you please enlighten us as to what that more effective, safe, and cleaner technology is?
