Chicago Experiment

On the fringes of my self defense thoughts I find myself feeling bad for the people of Chicago.
I know its not at all possible, but I would like to see an experiment conducted within the confines of that city.
Arm the people. If an armed society truly is a polite society then the tide would turn. If not, maybe it would become America's most vacated city.
Heck, if we can try Fast and Furious, why not?

Because guns cause crime. It has nothing to do with upbringing, gangs, lenient criminal laws, drugs, lack of moral values or collapse of the family unit. It's the guns that cause crime. Ask our President......

Just put a big fence around it. Sickcago rats will eat each other. And the world be a better place........

I don't feel sorry for Chicagoans at all. They voted for these hacks now they live with it. It's the IL residents living outside of Chicano that I feel for.

Exactly. It's easier to blame something than to fix anything. But the data are already clear-how many millions of us carry firearms everyday everywhere and never commit a crime? That's the insanity of their position; that can't happen if guns cause crime.

Yes and just think what would happen to the gang bangers/bad guys if all of a sudden those millions with guns just decided they are not going to take it anymore

Should run that experiment alongside my CA experiment... let them outlaw guns (so many want to already!) and see what happens.

(Sorry everyone from CA... no offense intended! Purely tongue-in-cheek. I used to live there, and my sister still does, so I don't really want that one to happen!)
