I don't know how may of you are familiar with the Chiappa Rhino. It's a revolver that came out some time in 2010 (I believe) and is a bit of a departure from the standard revolver design. If you haven't seen it, you should check it out on Chiappa's site. (chiappafirearms.com/products/75) Anyway, I decided to get one, but was a little discouraged when I had a really hard time finding a holster to fit it. Finally I happened upon this site: oldfaithfulholsters.com where they sell a kit to make a hybrid leather/kydex IWB holster. The price was good so I figured I'd give it a shot. At the bottom here I'm going to post a picture of the finished product. I was surprised in the end how easy it actually was to make and how comfortable it is to wear. Take a look and see what you think.

Nice, great to see another Chiappa Rhino owner out there, especially someone with a model besides the 200DS. I had the chance to trade in my 40DS for a 60DS at a gun show recently but decided against it because the seller was asking for too much for it on top of my 4" Rhino trade-in.

I recently called Chiappa at their Dayton, OH location about their "Link Removed" they have out-of-stock on their online direct store. The Chiappa representative I talked to, Phillip, informed me that they had a shipment of twenty Ghost holsters coming in soon from Italy, and I had him put one aside for me to ship automatically as soon as it arrived to them.

As I'm waiting for my imported holster, I still like the idea of kydex IWB holster for concealed, and I am impressed with how yours turned out with your 40DS.
Can you tell me which custom kit you used exactly? Thanks.

Yup, The Old Faithful's are very nice holsters. They've been around for a while but they've been picking up popularity now that they mold the kydex for you. You used to get your kit with a flat piece! I've got on for my PF-9.
