Does anyone know whether there are specific rules/laws about concealed carry on the reservation?

laws vary from tribe to tribe reservation to reservation i'm pretty sure it works like that on the rez

In NM You have to get permission from the tribe to be able to carry open or concealed. Heard that is almost impossible. If You have to cross reservation boundaries on roads thru, just don't do anything stupid and You should be OK.

To carry on the reservation your best bet will be to talk to the tribal police.
If your just driving through the reservation you'd be better off locking it in your trunk.
Each reservation is a law unto itself so it changes depending. On where you are.

The Eastern band of Cherokee Indians and all law enforcement officers on the Qualla boundary shall give Full Faith and Credit to Article 54B of North Carolina Criminal Law, N.C. Gen. Stat. 14-415.10 through 14-415.26, Concealed Handgun Permit, and possession of a concealed handgun pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. 14-415.10 through 14-415.26 shall be lawful authority to do so.
