Charter arms revolver

Can't seem to be able to find a thread I had posted awhile back about a 22WMR Charter Arms revolver I bought.
Anyway, it turned out to be real POS, so I sent it back to CA for warranty repair. Got it back yesterday after a month.
They replaced the cylinder & the firing pin. Took it to the range today, Ran 150 rounds of various ammo through it with no issues.
Other than it taking longer than I had hoped to get it back, the warranty service was top knotch. They blamed it on a shortage of 22WMR cylinders.
I really like this gun, so I'm real happy it works now up to my expectations.

I added some flourescent green paint to the front sight. Seems to help my ancient eyes to see it better.

Glad to hear that they took care of you. I love my Bulldog .44, haven't had any problems with it, but its good to know that the company takes care of their customers.

My .44 bulldog has been back to the factory three (3) times for repairs. It seems it
can't handle the power of factory .44 special ammunition. I now use and carry really
light reloads.

The Bulldog comes in at about 220z. That's pretty light for a 44 sp.
My Ruger Alaskan in 44 Mag weighs in at about 41 oz. When I shoot
re-load 44sp. in it. Feels like a 38. Weight makes a big diference. You
are basically overworking that gun in 44SP. But for the $$$, it's still a
deal. Not sure how good of a deal..........
Price was THE deciding factor on me getting the CA in 22mag. There
are more expensive guns in that same catagory, but it fit my needs as
a plinker. Plus it looks exactly like I wanted it to. I am happy, happy,
happy !!!!!

For me if it's a big bore, I want it heavy.

If you reload, you could do some impressive damage with 200gr SWCs out of a Special. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to trust my life with such a loading.
