I have all three 9MM, .40 S&W, are both SS, and the 45 in Nitride. I have only put 10 rounds through the 45 (With Pachmayr's grip) it was very potent and accurate enough. I had shot some other guns that day and those ten rounds convinced me I had enough shooting for it. I have little to say about the 9 as I am not a 9MM fan I had no trouble with mine. Some people shooting other 9MM revolvers (Taurus and Ruger) have reported that the last round sometimes has the bullet fall out of the case and the power dribble out there by leaving you one shot shy. I have not experienced this. I would expect it could be a problem in other calibers, but I have not seen such reported. All of the Pitbulls have a different, but similar rim retention system. Each chamber has retractable tab or pin in the cylinder star. The system works well enough, but it has some pitfalls. There is usually one or two empty cases that don't fall free and need to be shaken off, this slows the emptying process. This is not suitable for a speed loader as the rounds will not fall in and need to be pushed in (I don't have a suitable speed loader for any of them so I have not actually tried it with one, perhaps you could develop a knack for pushing them all down with the speed loader) I use speed strips and work them down two at a time. I think the 40 to be the sweet spot of the three calibers still plenty snappy, it is accurate for me and I can shoot 30 or 40 rounds before quitting.. My nightstand gun.
Charter Arms, fit and finish leaves a good bit to be desired, but they do work!

The issue of bullet jump with non-revolver cartridges that don't have a bullet-holding crimp is a known concern.
