Charlotte NRA Convention

So I have never been to the convention before, I am a life member. I live outside of Fayetteville and I was wondering, for those of you who have been, is there enough stuff there to keep the wife and two toddlers happy? My fear is that we will make a three hour drive, stay the weekend in town, and they will be bored out of their minds. They are gun people, but not the extent that I am. Is there enough at the annual convention to keep a family amused, is my question? Thanks!
