CCW Wisconsin needs help from the USA

As Prince of Peace has pointed out, you are welcome to hunt in Wisconsin, but not to carry a gun. The group I'm in is working to change that.

My question to everyone out there is;

Which states have a good permitted CCW law?

Ultimately we'd like to go to a constitution carry, but as we have nothing at all at the moment, we're looking for something permitted to get started.

If possible, I also desperately need copies of the good CCW laws.

Look to your neighbors...Both IA and MN have very good CCW laws....

Fester, I can't believe the apathy on this forum. It publishes weekly newsletters offering free trinkets but when it come down to actual help to CONCEALED CARRY the first two words in this forum name the favor of your 2nd amendment rights fall flat.

The plea I made for support of our struggle was as of this post viewed 573 times with 1 REPLY. That only to say that thing were worse in Washington DC'!


As a forum I think this has failed us on many levels. First and foremost of which is the members themselves.

I can't believe that there is NO SUPPORT for a CCW law in Wisconsin and Illinois.
When a hypothetical question of can a security guard ask for your CCW card or not gets 2,476 reads with a outstanding reply of 83 and a plea for help on a legal petition for revamping our right to CCW in our state gets viewed almost 600 times and IGNOREGED as many!!

Fester you and I are way out of our league here. These people enjoy their CCW rights and entertain themselves with what if scenarioes while others in America still struggle for their basic freedoms,

What a shame.

I can't speak for others here, but what you needed to be more specific about you question. No getting ANY replies is the number 1 clue that folks don't really understand what you want, not that they don't care.

What do you mean by "good CCW laws"? If you can't CCW now, ANY law is better than what you've got!

Do you want the rest of us to do your research for you? Is that what you implied? If so, no wonder you got NO replies.

Go to handgunlaw.us. You can click on every State in the Union and see the specific laws. Do your own research if that's what you want. I'm not trying to be rude, but I really don't know what you need. Your question was weird.

Give me a break. IMO you posted in the wrong section I think this is more suited for 2nd amendment politics. Many viewing the CC section are seeking tactics. IMO posting in this section is like going to a porn shop trying to buy the bible. Also, this website has a STATE section.

This site also has a resources section which would allow you to view a summary of the CCW law in each state. It's one thing that you ask for recommendations but don't expect anyone to do the work for you, why not use the many resources available to you?

Vermont and Alaska are the kind of systems you should put in place. New Hampshire have a nice system as well. I think you will find once something does get put in place it will be even harder to get that changed. So make sure you get a system passed that is really what you want.
