CCW valid in most states

I live in Ohio and have a CCW in Ohio. Can I get a permit in another state that would allow me to carry in most states? I am mostly interested in the states that border Ohio but more would be better. If I got one from IN, that should cover what I am after, correct?

Look at PA

PA is a good choice. With Ohio and PA you can carry in 33 states. PA uses your Ohio CCW permit to qualify you for their permit and it is only $25.

That's the route I went. A bit of paperwork to fill out, but about a week later I had my PA permit in hand. I believe it was the Centreville Sheriff's Office that I went through?

I live in Indiana and have that CCW permit. I took a class to get my Utah Non-resident CCW so that I could carry in more states, including Ohio. Indiana recognizes Ohio's permit, but Ohio does not recognize Indiana's, so that is why I got the Utah CCW. Refer to the maps that are on the home page and click in the states that you have permits for, and it will tell you what states you can carry in.

Do you fill out the same application online as a resident of another state does? Indiana asks about your residence of Indiana and I didn't want to fill it out improperly. I clicked IN and PA, PA doesn't include Alabama or Mississippi so I figured IN was a better choice.

In order to get a non-res IN you have to work in IN.

I would suggest Arizona...$60...your OH permit will suffice for the training requirement...Reciprocity is awesome. You can get it thru the mail....in about 2 weeks.

Call or email them...they'll send you a app packet

It doesn't look like an out of state permit will fulfill the training requirement.
I pulled this off the Arizona website, following the link you provided.
Damn I wish it did.

Note:

* All changes of address and phone numbers must be reported in writing to the CWPU within 10 days of the change. Utilize the 'Change, Error or Non-Receipt of Permit Form' available under printable forms on this web page.
* All training for an AZ CCW permit MUST be conducted within the borders of the state of Arizona.

The website hasn't been updated fully yet. I pointed that out to them back in November...they said they'd "take care of that".

The constitutional carry bill that passed last year added these Link Removed options:
