CCW Processing Times...

Hello, I currently reside in California and I didn't happen to see any post on this subject, so I figured I would start one. This could be information that someone else would want to know as well.

I have researched the internet, but only have found postings from like 2007 or 2009. Anyones that appear newer, still take you to an old posting.

So, my question is for those listening and have applied within the last 6 months for an out-of-state CCW while living in California.

I'm interested in knowing the time it took to get the following license returned to you in the mail.

UTAH
Florida
Arizona

Now remember, I reside in California, so I'm more so looking for those with experience living within this State. But, if you want to contribute and live in another state, that information would be valuable as well.

For Utah it took me about 30 days. You have to take a training class from a Utah approved trainer and you must have a Californis permit first, but when sent in that is about how long it took. Florida when I had theirs took about the same amount of time and I got theirs when I lived in NY.

Where you live in Ca. makes a difference as to whether you can get a CCW / CHL permit. One of the reasons I left the Golden State.
