I have read hundreds of post on here and was wondering if anyone on here has ever had to pull their gun to defend themselves or someone else? If so how did it go down and what was the outcome. Im only trying to better educate myself for what would be the worst day of my life in the event I had to use mine.

Comes to follow if it didn't "go down" well, the defender would be six under, in the gray bar hotel or had his permit pulled.

Expect to find only "good" results posted in here. (If any.)

On the other hand, I'm not really in a hurry to do any field testing of what I train for but hope fervently I never need.

Not too many stories about that on this forum. I would try checking other websites. We do have plenty of examples in these forums of times people pulled guns when they should NOT have though! It is also helpful to learn from others' mistakes in this sense.

I hate sticking up for DE but it was just a few weeks ago when just about everyone on the forum agreed that this guy shouldn't have drawn his weapon. He had others on his side, he was a Martial artist and all the other guy was doing was yelling at him.

That's one that comes right to mind. It wasn't just DE's opinion.

True more people were against that guy here. Fewer defended him, and in the end the courts sided with the fewer, and he was only charged with not having his permit on him. So take it as you wish.

I don't think the courts sided with the few. If you look at the online records the court sent out 3 summons and two were returned non deliverable. It looks like the lack of a complainant caused the charges to be dropped.

And did anyone else notice that once his records were found online the guy never posted again.

Could you explain that further. 2 : 3 say returned subpoena for Christopher and Rebecca. Does that mean undeliverable? I see, "charges dismissed" by a court of law, meaning he was innocent. Is dismissed and dropped the same thing? Unless you can explain it further, that is how I have to read it.

I don't blame him for not wanting to stick around here, after what he had to go through. We don't know why he stopped posting though, could of been his lawyers advice to stop.
