CCW application with previous drug possession charge

I'm sorry if this has been answered but wanted to know if any drug possession conviction immediately disqualifies a person from obtaining a ccw?

Is there a time frame similar to Florida's 3 years from conviction to date of application?

Depends on what state you live in. In Massachusetts for example it is Not necessarily an automatic denial in my understanding. but you have to answer yes to question 7 and there's a reasonable chance they will deem you not appropriate.
