If there is a war on women – as liberals alleged last year about conservatives during the election campaign cycle – it is part of a broader cultural war that discourages gun ownership and armed self-defense, a message that is delivered in a short new video announced today by the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and its sister organization, the Second Amendment Foundation.
Coincidentally, this release by the Bellevue-based organizations comes three days after the Daily Caller ran a story on Friday headlined “Liberal Logic: It’s ok to disrespect women.”
CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, who founded SAF several years ago, said the thrust of the video message is to “remind women that they are ultimately responsible for their own safety and the safety of their children, and that in an emergency, help may not get there in time.”
