CCP 90 days almost up question???

Got 2 days left before my 90 days are up called Columbia today they said just waiting on FBI check to come back. How long does that take and how far do they go back. Been out of military 34 years never been in trouble since been out can't say about when I was in but I was a young hell raising Marine. Are they going into military or they just looking nationwide for serious offenses??

I'm betting they're just slow. I'm in Nebraska, and it took about 95 days. This is our first year for renewals so they said they were swamped. Just when I stopped looking for it in the mail every day - it showed up!

PS - And while I'm not, my buddy who took the class with me was a USMC, and he got his a week ago. So hang on a little longer!

Mine from SC printed/issued exactly 91 days from the time they told me it hit their desk. It got there Feb 8th and issue date was May 9th. Yeah bro, they're gonna look at everything you've ever done in your life. There's no statute of limitations on your record. Not sure what you were referring to as far as what you did when you were younger, but normally if you can purchase a firearm legally you are good to go. Not even sure where you live. I just assumed when you said Columbia, you are in SC. If your discharge from the Marine Corps was anything besides honorable, they may want to see a copy of your DD-214.

I'm also from SC. I just sent mine in last Wednesday. My instructor said 80 to 90 days and to call on 91 if it wasn't back by then. Won't hold my breath

Yup it goes by quick kind of fun with my friends saying like 10 and a wake up but the last week is killer and when you call on the 89th day and they tell you they are waiting for the FBI to send back and complete their thing that gets you crazy that they just started that around the 85th day or 87th crazy bro

He means that they say along time but don't mean it ... In Ohio they say 45 days it took two weeks

A female friend got her ccw permit back day before yesterday. Close to the full 90 days, in South Carolina.

Took about 95 days for me to receive mine from South Carolina...I ended up calling on the 90th day and received a few days later. I called SLED, the lady was real nice and looked up my information.

Got mine the 94th day now going for Newhampshire to carry in GA

My application was sent in March 29th and I just received mine today, July 25th, almost 4 full months, so they are taking their time. The instructor warned us it might be a while during the class, but I have some friends who have gotten theirs back in less than 60 days. There is no rhyme or reason to the madness.
