CC holster for Ruger SR40

I've had my Ruger SR40 since last October, couldn't find a "good-fitting" holster until March of this year. Many advertised they fit, but most were too tight, didn't have enough adjustment, etc.

Now i'm trying to find a CC holster for it, IWB or OWB, either is okay. Anyone who can provide some insight?

If your looking for leather then UBG Holsters is an outstanding guy to buy from.

Since I've seen this a couple times so I googled around, everything I see says that the SR9 and SR40 are the same minus weight. But I've also read about a lot of people buying hybrid's for the SR9 and just heating up the Kydex a little and letting it adjust itself.

If you're looking for IWB go with a hard shell or kydex. You don't want to have to use two hands to holster your weapon. My vote goes to the crossbreed supertuck. It's not the prettiest but it's comfortable and easy to conceal. Plus the kydex can be adjusted slightly to make for tight or slightly looser fit. Just my two cents!

I don't have to use 2 hands to holster on any of my leather Don Hume IWB holsters. Nor any of the Bob Mernickle made ones either. A quality leather holster will NOT CLOSE when the gun is drawn. If you end up with one that does, send it back and try another manufacturer.

Just got an email from Kholster on a sale there having from the 27-31, Apparently they now have SR40 on the list. $40+ free shipping. I own a couple of them, can't go wrong.

+1 for the Kholster. I love my Crescent model for my Sig P250, and with the sale going on now, you can have one in less than a week, probably, and for just $40 shipped.
