First lets say that I know all the avoidance procedures and am not the dumb ass you people think! Keep your stupid comments to yourself. Thank you to those who chose to be adults and provide a accual answer to my question...........Be Prepared or Die.

Ummm...what???!!! Did you have a question or just having a bad day and decided to take it out on us??

consult your state regulations... Most times you will need a CHL to carry on a motorcycle BECAUSE it is concealed... If you have saddle bags or a top box, you might be able to transport it inside these in a locked case, but again, check your state laws. If you are carrying on your person, be advised it IS a hard object that will try to wear a hole in your hide when you slide down the road on it AND could be a topic of discussion at the emergency room... that said, yes, I carry, and I wear bright colors, AND ride like I am invisible.

.... I have been thinking about one of those motorcycle trailers JUST because longarms do not fit well on a motorcycle

It really depends on what you're wearing, what type of ride you have, how you sit on the bike, etc...

For me, I'm in a 'stich jump suit, and carry in a paddle holster (sans paddle) in a chest pocket.

I've also thought about OBC (off body carry), by using a tank bag. I'm not super keen on the idea, but it would give the fastest access.

UD

Caveat: This is based on you being able to legally able to concealed carry, and that you don't have a desire to open carry.

I hear that a revolver in .357 Magnum is the way to go when riding. Makes sense to me, but I'm also thinking that a 4" barrel would be better than a snub nose... although the snub nose is more concealable. That being said, I'm looking for the best way to carry my Ruger Security Six snub nose... thinking one of those vests with a built-in holster would be a good bet.

my second day carrying today .....got my rig up under a long elastic waisted skirt with a long shirt over it.....going to a drum circle in the park.....have my wallet and keys in a small pouch at my waist....so going to test the waters see if anyone notices.....i think there was another drummer there last week carrying but i didn't ask or let on like i was checking out his 'bulge' heheh

You're my hero... :to_pick_ones_nose3:

I carry my Bersa .380 in a White Hat holster. My shirt and jacket hide it just fine. I haven't had any issues.

Dude, thats not a very hospitable way to open a post, especialy for a newbe, exactly what was your question, weather or not we carry while riding, of course we do, just follow your states rules for concealed carry in any vehical, as far as where to carry it while riding, thats really up to you and what works, if your not the dumb ass we think you are, I'm sure you can figure something out

This thread is in response to his other thread that is titled the same. He got some trolls and advice I guess he didn't want to hear...not sure why he had to make this thread, but here it is. :-)

I use my tank bag. I bring 2 holsters, my OC for trails and hiking and my IWB for everything else. A buddy has his just in front of the triple clamp. Seemed to work ok for pocket pistols and maybe J frames
