Carring in a vehicle in SC

Is it legal in the state of SC with a valid carry permit to carry your weapon in a holster on your person while traveling in a vehicle?

You could also keep it under the seat or virtually anywhere as long as it is out of sight. Without a valid carry permit it needs to be in a closed compartment such as the glove compartment or center console.
