Well the canton police postpone officer Harless's hearing again.
The charges were dropped on the CCW holder he arrested.
Do you think the canton PD and the mayor are trying to sweep the incident under the rug and just let this cop back on the street later after some time go's by?
They have done so for 16 complaints on this cop so far why not this one?
Is he the mayor's girlfriend? You guess is as good as mine.
I hope the lawsuit is in the millions that canton has to pay.
the lose of trust that this city and it's police force has thrown away is mind blowing. So why are they not puting the trust of it people first? Cause the people of canton do not care? Do they want the unlawful acts the police do to keep going on? If you do not stand up for your rights you have none.
It's looks like the police are not going to stop this guy. So he will be back.
On the street and maybe next time he will stop a canton's son or dauther.
You deserved what you get. The other cops are giving this cop their sick days so they are supporting him, So they must think it's ok to tell people that your going to kill them. as long as your a cop. not one person on this force has stepped up and said fire this guy. they are standing behind him. Wow sworn to protect only cops not the people of the city.

It is obvious, if the other LEOs are giving him their sick days, they are all behind him. Says a lot for the rest of them, huh? Glad I don't live anywhere near there!!

This is disgusting. The "Thin Blue Line" is alive and well in Canton.

This PD is eventually headed for trouble. Sixteen complaints? Wow! When we make a mistake and harm another we may be sued for incidental, consequential or compensatory damages. But when the acts of misfeasance are continued in the face of logic and with a clear disregard of the officer's past, the court may allow the victim to sue for punitive damages which can be a lot of bucks. Repeated acts of misfeasance take on the element of intent and thus the defendant can be treated as if s/he intended to cause the harm. Prior bad acts can be admissable in court in certain cases. This opens the door to punitive damages. Most insurance companies will not indemnify a city against damages resulting from intentional acts.
