Can't fly a flag due to homeowners association?

A Los Angelos firefighter was told he could not fly a flag by his "homeowners association"....So he did this! AWESOME! Thanks to all our Vets this Memorial Day!

heheh i seen that one before what a great paint job
they tried to get a homeowners assn in my small community and i had to convince many neighbors it just wasn't worth doing so or really necessary at all and so far we don't have one and i'm glad of it

i lived in a condo community years ago and they tried to tell a woman on an end unit she couldn't fly her flag or they would fine her and made her take it down which she did but she brushed up on some laws and turns out the condo had to allow her to fly it if she wanted to

This reminds me of a co-worker I once dealt with.
He was the first person to move into "the neighborhood."
When the second person moved in, they agreed that the first thing they should do is make a "Home Owners Association." The first meeting they had was to agree that: "There will be no more meetings for the Home Owners Association."

I like it, but wouldn't work with our HOA. Any exterior work done to the house (even merely touching up paint on trim) must be approved by the association.

Nice!! Hahahaha That's great! That'll teach 'em! And yes, Thanks to all our Vets this weekend. :)

Excellent job! Flying a flag? Do you see a pole anywhere? I would never consider buying a home where an HOA was calling the shots.
