Like the title says can you bring firearms into "YOUR STATES state house" Again I'M not asking IF i can bring them into my state house. As i already know that in my state you can open carry or concealed carry in the state house people do it all the time. I want to know if we are the only state that lets people do this?

In Alabama, CCW permit is void in any air terminal or in any Court House or other public building whether City, County, State or Federal. LEO's are exempt of course.

Oh well that sucks for you guys. You should push to change that. In NH Every one is treated as a EQUAL (unless it's a Fed law). Other then that we do not give LEO more rights then Civ's. The whole thing that LEO's are Exempt from things makes me SICK. We are carry in all City/county/state buildings ( by NH law only place we can not carry is in a court house) If a LEO was to come to my store and was off duty or even on duty but on launch. I would make it a point to ASK THEM TO LEAVE and set up a Gun free zone for LEO. Citizen X would be Exempt of course. Why should only LEO be exempt? What makes them so high and mighty?

Again that sucks. Push for a bill to be passed.
How dare the government of NH trust the citizens. You must have people being shot every few minutes :)

I agree with you 100%. If I had my way the only places a citizen couldn't carry would be those places where a LEO can't carry. Unfortunately we are not there yet in Florida.

Not in Kansas either. It's funny the state issues CCHLs but won't let you carry in the State House and many other places.

Could be because the state house could be considered a target rich environment. :)

Just kidding...Call off the choppers.

Some lady was trying to pass a bill that would keep us from carrying in the state house. She thinks it will turn into the wildwest and everyone will pull out their guns and start shooting. She then said leaving the rest of us to do what? Duck and cover and hope to not get shot? She was laughed out of the room and Her bill got 11 votes out of 400 people. Yeah this whole thing about LEO's having more rights when it comes to carrying guns is nuts. Some Citizen X's have just as much if not more/better training then LEO's. For that matter some Citizen X's can handle a gun and shoot better then Some LEO. But yet they still can not carry and why not? Because they do not have a little piece of metal on their shirts. I think Police officers should be voted in to the job by the town i mean why not. We vote in the police chief/ We the people pick who we want to put into office for city/town/state/and some Fed jobs. So why not vote into office the patrolman?

In Minnesota, you can carry in the state house or in state courthouse complexes but only with prior notification of the Sheriff or Statehouse that you intend to do so. Our instructor sends letters certified mail to county courthouses and the statehouse to prove it. You still can't in a courtroom. He has had a personal "escort" by deputies while legally carrying in the courthouse complex, though.

So, as long as They have notification You can go into a State Courthouse; the kind of "notification" has to be from an Instructor (NRA type?)...followed by an escort? You said, "can carry" then "can't". I got lost or misunderstood something here.......

You asking about his state Sam or ours? If your asking about ours No. You do not have to tell them ahead of time you are going to be carrying. Just show up and walk in. But we carry in the state house not the court house i will have to look into the court house.

You provide prior written notification of your intent to carry in MN. If you can prove you provided notice, you can carry in the statehouse or courthouse complex. However, some of the pinko sheriff's departments still consider you a threat even though you are legal, so they have assigned deputies to shadow permit holders to make sure they don't go beyond what they are allowed.

I was questioning MN, NOT NH.
As far as I know You (non LEO) cannot carry concealed or open in a NH Courthouse, correct?
