Please tell me there are sane retailers in this world who won't say "how high" just because others say jump. Stores pulling product because of public perception? Someone please restore my faith in mankind.

I was at Acadamy Sports today and they were lined up 3 deep at the gun counter. The wait was over 2 hours to get waited on by a sales clerk. I also went to my local gun store/indoor range and they said they had sold out of AR type weapons this morning. The handgun show case was very bare also. Looks like a lot of guns being sold today in stores that will sell them.

Do you feel handguns are going to dry up also or just AR type firearms?

Wow...is what I have to say, with luck my part time job is at a pawn shop and we do deal with new and used guns. I just stopped by a couple hours ago because my son flew in last night for xmas from Fort Lee and wanted to see what was there. Well all I can say I walk in the office and it is full of brand new boxes of handguns and rifles (aks,9mm ar platforms, you name it with handguns and .223 ars) guess I should keep what I want in the gunroom. Same goes for what ammo we have too.

I bought a AR Lower on Nov 7th. My wife told me today that under no circumstances am I allowed to sell it. I can't say that I disagree with her.

They all gone. My friend and FFL said all his suppliers are dried up. He purchased a bunch of ar-10 and ar-15 stripped lowers recently but won't sale any of them.

We planned ahead...

Don't forget about weapons like SKSs and Garands, after the AWB is passed these puppies will be like gold! I got me one of each already, heh.

Capitalism pure and simple. Those that survive will, those that don't won't. Have you ever try selling glazed donuts at a Diabetes convention?

Oh and BOB, got a Garnad myself...........WOW what a great piece of engineering and fun to shoot. Accurate as hill and pings at ya also. It's were the original Lock & Load comes from.
