A simple question would be "where can I find the laws pertaining to self defense in my state" or "what is the difference between stopping the threat and homicide"

Your question is closer to premeditated murder than seeking advice. Learn to properly ask what you mean or bring some flame proof big boy pants, you are going to need them.

Yes, I believe she would be ruled as justified homicide, in other words, she would not be charged for a crime. But, like another poster said on here, better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6, in my opinion, regardless of state or local laws, i would take prison over death any day.
