They look a little overpriced to me

DeSantis, Crossbreed etc have similar holster @ cheaper prices. Just saying...

Well you get what you pay for.
You want cheap holsters there are plenty of them around, these people get really good reviews in other firearm forums, and a human answers the phone with help if needed.
Myself I don't mind paying more for a quality product.
