Browning and FNUSA does NOT support the Second Ammendment

Think that is a crazy claim?

Check out this video of the Browning/FNUSA service center, located in Arnold, Missouri, about twenty minutes away from where I live. I was out for a Sunday drive running errands, and decided to take a look at the FN facility.

I was shocked to see the huge sign demanding no loaded firearms on the premises.

Now, compare/contrast this with Midway USA which ENCOURAGES all its employees to carry concealed [loaded] weapons.

I find this disgraceful? You?

Tell me how this is an indication of the right to keep and BEAR arms. I don't know about you, but I prefer to carry a concealed weapon with bullets in it. Seems to work better.

Your thoughts??

Here is the video.

I would say that a property owner has the right to decide for themselves what is best for their business and insurance needs. If I had a business that made acessories I would have less concern for an armed person on my property than if I made weapon systems.

I don't find an issue with this. I think it is a property rights issue before it is a 2A issue.

Here it comes!!

it has more to do with insurance and safety than it does about their beliefs about gun laws

Absolutley. Do not draw your conclusions with such a big brush. Somehow I find a firearm dealer service center to be more of a magnet for all kinds of problems then Midway, who have a lot more to sell in the way of accessories and not fireams per se. As said above, blame it on the lawyers and insurance. If that is not good enough, blame it on Bush.

I was there & dropped a gun off a year ago. I think it's more of an insurance deal, you just go in the entry room anyway. People walk in with a lot of guns for service, one more sign to avoid loaded guns brought for repair. They were nice & didn't have any metal detector at the door.

No not surprising. This is America and the only right more important then the second is the FIRST. Private property is just that and if you OWN it you make the rules. Also keep in mind that federal buildings are no carry and WE THE PEOPLE own those! That is the true sad thing.
