Newbie question re: CCW permit
Just Posting for the first time here.
Had a question for anyone who has applied for CCW here in CA. I had a General Discharge, does anyone think that might hang up my app? It was not an "Under Less Than Honorable". The Coast Guard and I at the time just needed to part ways. It was over 15 years ago, and since then I have dedicated my life to public service as a paramedic. Thinking back, I was really young and dumb for not finishing out my service. What got me was that I found out I was color blind after doing everything else right to get to Aviation Survivalman School (including getting a 99 on the ASVAB).
The application here in Alameda County asks specifically if you were discharged with anything less than an Honorable.
