Bought a used pistol - defective

I bought Glock 26 gen 4 at a gun store.
Looked like new. Went to shoot (right there at the range), it got stuck after 10-15 rounds.
I took it back to the store where I was told that there is nothing wrong with the gun, the seller even went and shot it, said no problem. Also I was told that all sales are final (which was not communicated during the sale). I thought may be I was doing something wrong because I'm very new. A week later it got stuck after like 40 rounds.
I was told to take it to gunsmith they will exchange if the gunsmith finds that something is wrong with it.
Now I think I'm stuck with a defective pistol.
Will try the gunsmith but is it normal to sell crappy guns in stores and at gun shows? How to avoid this to happen again? Is there anything else I can do to make the store owner to refund or exchange?

Gun sales are usually final, especially at a licensed gun dealer that has to do a transfer using the ATF 4473 form. The only way to take it back would be to purchase it back from you.

What does "got stuck" mean? The Glock 26 Gen 4 is generally a very reliable firearm, even a used one. It is also very easy to service and very cheap to replace any broken parts, if any.

My guess is that it is likely the shooter that is the problem and not the gun. Feel free to explain what exactly your problem is with this gun. Feel free to post any pictures.

I would suggest you work with an instructor regarding your grip of the pistol. "Limp wristing" is a very common cause of the gun getting "stuck". The recoil of the gun should cause your entire arm to rise rather than the gun rotating about the axis of your wrist.

Got stuck? I mean were you driving it in the mud? Snow? Poor traction on bad tires?

Can you describe the "got stuck"?

Was the round stuck on the feed ramp and not going into battery? (Failure to feed).

Was am empty case sticking up out of the chamber looking like a chimney? (Called a stovepipe).

Did it go into battery and go CLICK and not go BOOM when you pressed the trigger? (this is generally an ammo issue such as bad ammo or extra hard primers, however a weak striker spring or a peened striker can cause this).

Were you using crap ammo from a bargain bin or Bubba The Reloader Dood?

Two failures over forty rounds with a new shooter is most likely indicative of a shooter problem.

Which of the photos below does your "got stuck" look like?

Send it back to Glock. They will fix it; usually free of charge. ive them a call (don't tell them you bought it used).

Thank you everyone who took time to respond.
Actually the gun fails to eject.
But since I might be the problem I feel much better now.
Will try calling Glock and will go practice.

Take a training class! Don't blame your own deficiencies on equipment. Don't try to fix your own deficiencies with equipment. Get some professional instructions on how to shoot! Then practice what you have learend at the range.
