If you could build one , stock it and keep everything SECRET, it might be nice to have. If not kept a secret you will be a target. It would be hard to live in a shelter when all your neighbors are starving. I would think someone would burn you out or block ventilation. You'd be like the Pharaohs in Egypt buried with your food.
