I just bought two s&w bodyguard. ifind that the release lever is very hard to reinstall. any suggestions?

It gets easier over time - the more you do it the easier it should get. Also, try to insert it at the same position (about 8:00) you removed it.

I bought one about a few months ago. After you shoot about 500 rounds through it everything will be loosened up. It's a great gun

Also... Pull the barrel all the way forward. Put the release in, and push the barrel back and snap the release in at the same time. Really easier done than said

Yea it has the little swipe area that its supposed to turn down in, but to remove the one I use I have to push it past and pull as I rotate it. When I put it back in, I just do the opposite and push as I rotate it around until it clicks all the way in and locks in place.
