Did anyone else hear the moron Bob Costas during the halftime of the Cowboy game? Placing the blame of the murder on the gun, not the idiot who pulled the trigger. He stated that if what's his name, deadbeat jerk (not worthy of a mention of his name) was not allowed to have a gun, that both would still be alive. He was quoting some article he read, but specifically stated he agreed with the statement. Costas - I would bet if he did not have a gun, he would have used a knife. Or shovel, or car.

It is not the object, it is who wields it.

I am so tired of these morons with microphones who think it is always the gun. When was the last time they covered the "gun" that saved the homeowners from a home invasion, the "gun" that prevented a rape? (Crickets chirping).

I couldn't agree with you more. I guess Costas never heard of O.J. Simpson. After hearing Costas ridiculas rant, I have decided to give up on Sunday night Football. I love the game, and I love watching it, but not enough to be subjected to some moron with a microphone, preach his biased, ignorant opinions to me. Especially when those opinions have nothing to do with the game of football! If I wanted to hear his left wing liberal crap about some social political agenda he's pushing, then I'd be watching the so called news on NBC, or MSNBC, or any one of other liberal propeaganda networks. Blaming a gun for a murder is like blaming a camera for underage porn.... If it's not Troy Aikman, Michael Irvin or even...sigh... the devil Michael Strahan, I don't hear a damn thing they say except what is relevant to the game. Football is football. There is no room for anything except maybe a moment of silence. I liked Goodell's call on not canceling the game. It showed that the NFL doesn't allow an idiot of a player to derail this nation's favorite game and that they wouldn't allow the actions of one person affect millions.
