~The Dude Abides~
Mayor Bloomberg -aka- Mayor Dumbshit & his 'national coaliton' of LibTards, plan to air an 'anti-gun ad' during the Super Bowl.
According to their own words, They "Don't want criminals & other Dangerous People purchasing guns". :big_boss:
The question is, Who Exactly do these Libtards define as being 'Dangerous People'? :unsure:

He's spending his taxpayer's money to put an ad that "criminals and other dangerous people" will perhaps watch and expect them to obey the law? Where did he get the idea that that will work??!@?#$?%?%?^&*??? But then, hey...NYC-ers get what they deserved...say no more...:wacko:

well...beings how they (NY) already have some of the tightest anti-gun legislation in the country....why are they gonna spend this kind of money to propose keeping the laws this tight??? do they smell a change coming?? there's gotta be something in the wind that they're afraid of-pro gun wise ... yes?

None of us will be watching the super bowl anyway because the NFL is one of the biggest anti-gun organizations in the country.

NFL Guns and Weapons Policy

This policy applies to all employees of the NFL and its member clubs, including players.

Prohibitions. Whether possessed legally or illegally, guns and other weapons of any kind are dangerous. You and your family can easily be the losers if you carry or keep these items in your home. You must not possess these weapons while traveling on League-related business or whenever you are on the premises of the following:

• A facility owned, operated or being used by an NFL club (for example, training camp, dormitory, locker room, workout site, parking area, team bus, team plane, team hotel/motel);

• A stadium or any other venue being used for an NFL event (for example, a game, practice or promotion);

• A facility owned or operated by the NFL or any League company.

Put simply, the League, the Players Association and law enforcement authorities urge you to recognize that you must not possess a gun or other weapon at any time you are performing any service for your team or the NFL.

Discipline. If you violate this policy on guns and other weapons, you are subject to discipline, including suspension from playing.

I am watching...I don't watch the actual game because I do not understand American footy.:confused:
I like to watch the ads because it is what I do.:biggrin:

I figure the NFL is completely rigged - I doubt the powers would really allow millions of dollars to be randomly decided by a field goal in the last 5 seconds.

Here's the irony. A HUGE part of the football viewing audience are gun owners. Such an advertisement goes a long way to demonizing Bloomy and his mayor's coaltition. How many girly-men anti-gun bloomy supporters are watching this "primitive" sport?

Did anyone look at the reader comments following the article? People slammed him hard.

Exactly...but why are so many active 2A supporters watching the most anti-gun pro sport in the United States and then complaining about the anti-gun ads?

Because last time we all checked, it's still a free country! :big_boss:
You got a problem with that? :blink:
Or do Libtards such as yourself feel that Conservatives who own firearms should not be allowed to watch Football? :wacko:
What's your friggin point? Do you even have a point?? :no:
I smell a Troll! :haha:

I think most people don't realize the league's strong anti-gun position. I was shocked to see Plaxico Burress pretty much got off compared to the rest of us.

Most people have already made their mind up about Bloomberg. He is a fool and most people know that, except the voters in New York city. I do not know why NYC voters such fools, something in the water? I am sure the ad was paid for by Bloomberg, and his rich gun grabbing friends. Bloomberg is easy to discredit. We as a group can counter anything he or his friends say with facts, and lead the uneducated with fine examples. If New York city voters would get smart, and vote his dumb @$$, and the other fool in the Pesidents seat out of office, we would all be better off. Spread the word, and set a great example.

I won't watch football. I can careless about watching sports. I rather watch the outdoor channel. Sunday's are the best. All the cool hunts and anglers.

Nah, he's not a troll. He's written some very informative posts on the legal issues of gun possession. I've learned a lot from those posts and look forward to his unbiased opinion.

I have a super bowl most every day - I fill it with Cheerios ...
