I am in the market for my first Ar. These three brands were recommended to me as accurate AR's. Colt, Windham and Amalite in that order. What does everyone think of those thre brands?

I have a Windham MPC and I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's 100% reliable and accurate. The fit and finish is top notch.

The Colt M16 I was issued in the Army was sloppy and wore out but it was completely reliable and accurate also.

No clue about Armalite. Sorry.

Lots of great AR platforms out there these days..Bushmaster and Daniels Defense to name a few. I have a Bushmaster and haven't had a problem one with it.
