I got tired of the limping regular belts and got me one of these:

It's a tank of a belt, you can hang a hog on it and it won't sag. And therein lies the problem ... the belt is so darn thick that you have a devil of a time to slide a belt holster on it. I have a Serpa Holster also from Blackhawk and I really have to pull like hell to get it on there. Once on there it won't ever move no matter what I do.

Bottomline: USE AS DIRECTED. If you put this on in the morning and never have to take it off all day, this thing is marvelous. Equally if you use a clip on holster or anything the likes. For carry to work and then back from work with a belt slide holster I find it TOO GOOD to be practical for me.

Just my 2 cents.

I have used the 5.11 tactical operator belt now for over a year as My EDC belt. It's made the same way/style as the black hawk belt is with a few exceptions. The nylon insert makes all the difference over a Wal-Mart belt. It's stiff and the belt never sags. I also have a custom handmade leather gun belt and I use for when I have to dress up. The true test for the 5.11 will come when I start carrying my new 1911 compact(around 2 pounds.) The maximum rated weight of the belt is around 2000 pounds, so you could use the belt to drag someone to safety if needed. Or pull a small car around LOL.
