Black on white crime and reverse racisms

Well as you may know I am one of the forum members that asked the question about wether or not the florida shooting was racist or not. As I continued to monitor the news and internet, and print media I was having a hell of a time trying to decipher the fact from fiction but i do understand that both parties were very stupid in the way the situation occured.

Its sad that a young man lost his life, but its also sad that another man also lost his life by killing the other young man on one hand the black man did dangerous and stupid actions that caused him to lose his life never to return from the dead, and GZ lost his life due to not thinking before he acted and will now probally spend the majority of his life either in prison or hiding for the remainder of his life in both cases its a very very sad situation. After doing research i no longer feel that the incident was racial.

I grew up in Los Angeles a gang infested area but I made it through without joining a gang or ending up in the system, so in my opinion it can be done you have to be stronger to resist the temtation of the golry and power of being in a gang I was always picked on because I am biracial Black/Italian and i never fitted in which in my opinion was a blessing My Italian grandmother always instilled in me that gangs are stupid that i would have a home in one of two places 1.prison 2.cemetery and i didnt want to be in either one, so i completed school and went on the college i didnt complete for personal reasons but i did rise above the cesspool of society and for that I am grateful to my grandmother and she was realy strong she was one of only three white people that lived in East Los Angeles at the time back in the early 80's up until her passing in 2001 she was 102 yrs she was and still is to this day my inspiration.

Now my main story point I see a lot of black on white and latino on white racist activities but you never hear or see it in the mainstream media for what reason I dont know but i have seen it against my grandmother, my mother and even myself which is realy weird> I would realy love your opinion on what you think the cause of that may be I have some ideas but I realy value this forums opinions Ive learned alot from this website's forum. The reason you don't see black on white racist stories in the media is because liberals are convinced blacks aren't racist. Racism is a white only problem. White liberals still bare the quilt of slavery and black liberals haven't been able to punish the whites enough. It's because, sad as it is, (and yes, many liberals are unwilling to admit it,) minority-on-white crime is usually not based on race. It's based on the fact that minorities are statistically more likely to commit criminal acts than whites, yet a majority of the population is still white. Therefore, a majority of the available targets are white.

Yes, there are race-based minority-on-white crimes, and those are usually prosecuted as hate crimes as well. But unless something was said to make it obvious the crime was solely because the victim was white, it's hard to prove. Just as is the reverse. The 911 recordings appear to catch Zimmerman uttering a racial slur, that makes it appear that it is racially-motivated. (Look at LA, lots of the gang violence could easily be declared to be racially-motivated across different minorities, but law enforcement just calls it gang-related.)

Another thing to note is that while minority-on-white violence is a problem, (as is all violence, for that matter,) white-on-white violence is still more common than any type of violence, and minority-on-minority violence is more common than minority-on-white or white-on-minority. True "hate crime" violence is very rare - violence where the motivating factor in the violence was stereotyping, rather than some other cause.

When someone tells me that there was a "hate crime" committed, I always ask them if there is such a thing as a "love crime". If I get killed for the money in my wallet and someone else gets killed for their race, is either one of us less dead? Is one type of a victim more "special" than another? It boggles my mind that there are so many people making a living as race hustlers and identity pimps. I for one am sick of hyphenated Americans demanding special treatment based on race or gender or sexual identity or whatever. Hate crimes? BS. Just crime.

Whose interpretation is that? No such thing happened. What you are referring to is the 911 dispatcher asking Zimmerman if the person that he is following White, Black, or Hispanic. Zimmerman said, "Be appears to be Black." What about that is a racial slur?

I was a victim of an attack in college where a group of black football players targeted me because I was the only white guy in our dorm. They knew I lived in there and sent a small black guy to knock on my door in the middle of the night. When I answered, the little guy who I can only compare in stature to "Sammy Davis JR." hit me in the chest with an egg. After that, I worked out into the hallway where he tried several times to unsuccessfully hit me. I had trained martial arts my whole life and so I just blocked his punches and told the two extremely large guys backing him up to get him off me or I would hit him back. They proceeded to scoop him up like a football and carry him off. I'm sure I was targeted because I was white. In fact, I was the only white guy on the floor of the dorm.

While I think this example was racially motivated, I believe that most violence by blacks against non-blacks is not racially motivated. I always felt it is primarily done because of opportunity rather than race. The fact is that most violence committed by blacks is still mostly done to other blacks.

Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.. White
America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to.... This time,
the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and
demands heard. And among them are these:

First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It
was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave
ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to
Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and
prosperity blacks have ever known.. Jeremiah Wright ought to go down
on his knees and thank God he is an American.

Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white
Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s on welfare,
food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student
loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty
programs designed to bring the African-American community into the
mainstream. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in
discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract
set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white
applicants.Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals
all over America have donated their time and money to support soup
kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for
blacks.

We hear the grievances........ Where is the gratitude??

Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let him go
to Altoona ? And Johnstown, and ask the white kids in Catholic schools
how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out
scholarships for 'deserving' white kids...? Is white America really
responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for
African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really
white America 's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community
has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some
cities has reached 50 percent?

Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a failure of the
black community itself?

As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial crime, and
especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware that while
white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black criminals
choose white victims 45 percent of the time?

Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more common
than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as
common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?

We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana Brawley,
the Duke rape case and Jena . And all turned out to be hoaxes. But
about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear
nothing.

Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40 years and
40 trillion tax dollars ago.





This needs to be passed around because, this
is a message everyone needs to hear!!!

I'm going to say something that isn't politically correct but it is true. I fully admit that some white folks are racist. I will also admit that there are more black racists than white. When you consider that there are a lot more white folks in America than black, that should reveal something. If a person is racist and has prejudices toward you, no matter how hard you try you'll still always be the bad guy. The man I am descended from came to America from Ireland as an indentured servant. He was for all purposes a slave to the man he was serving until he turned 21. Many young boys who came from the British Isles as indentured servants never lived to see their 21st birthday. Their way of life was rough. In many places they worked in the fields right alongside slaves. In many places the Irish were looked down upon. I don't feel sorry for myself however and no one owes me anything I don't earn. Many of the slaves came from what is Sierra Leone in Africa today. Think about that country's recent history. People have been slaughtered like insects. I guess I'm tired of black folks who tell me to be color blind in one breath and tell me I owe them something in the next breath, simply because they are black.

Another person that can read but not understand..no insight or just unable to comprehend what Bounty Hunter was referring to. Maybe it's just in this case you see everything on racial tones! Damn..re read what he wrote and with a little more awareness of what happened (as much as has been speculated about that is) you might actually be able to know what bounty Hunter was talking about. Just take off those glasses that colors your interpretation!!

I'm Black. There's no such thing as "reverse racism", only racism. If you're White and do something out of dislike for Black people, you're a racist. If you're Black and do something out of dislike for Whites, you're a racist. There's no difference.

One of today's problems is that a vocal segment of Black politics has been taken over by people who are nothing more than imitators of David Duke. They are using the same tactics and rhetoric for the same reasons: personal aggrandizement.

Eric Holder is no different from any White southern prosecutor in '50s Mississippi or Alabama. He's got an agenda and a constituency. The law, the U.S. Constitution and simple human decency have no more of an influence on him than they did on Bull Connor.

Deanimator, I don't know how to operate the like function or I would double like your post. Until we all learn to be truly color blind and judge a person by his or her actions, this isn't going to get fixed.

I once was at an annual conference in the United Methodist Church held in Brentwood Tennessee. At this conference there was a measure brought to the floor to give help to any finacially hurting United Methodist Chuch in the Tennessee Conference. The measure passed. About fifteen minutes later a black minister introduced a motion on the floor to give financial aid to black churches within the conference that were financially hurting. What part of the previous action to help all churches did he not understand? That motion was defeated as it was pointed out the previous action would help any church regardless of color within the conference which needed it. The black ministers have a black caucus. No white caucus exists. The black ministers ask us to be color blind. How can I be when they keep pointing out that they are black?
