Black Hawk Knoxx Axiom fit

I just ordered a Black Hawk Knoxx axiom ultra light stock for my Weatherby Vanguard 300 mag.. I had it sent to Mich. for a mag port job, but it still kicks too hard. I figured if I'm going to put a sissy pad on I might as well get something good. I'm a little concerned with the free float barrel design from what I can see in photos. I don't have the stock yet. It says "Aluminum pillars" guarantee accuracy, but I'm skeptical, and wonder if anyone else is using this stock, and if you have any tips or tricks to installing it properly or any ideas to improve upon it.

Also, I ordered the cheek pad and I'm wondering if it mounts left handed?
