I'm surprised more people aren't aware, but there is a bill in the Illinois house, HB1016, that if passed would shut down most of the gun shops in Illinois. In the words of Todd V., Illinois NRA Lobbyist, this one has legs. Though it is likely to go nowhere because it is so oppressive, it does have alot of backing; including from Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly.
It may likely come before committee Tuesday. We need to voice our opposition!
