Does anybody make a cross harness for the X15? I've looked online and couldn't find anything. The standard strap isn't the most robust and seems to be an "expendable" item.

Do you already have an X15 and are dissatisfied with the strap, or are you judging only from pictures and/or what you've heard?

I carried with an X15 for a combined total of about 10 years, five or so in WA State in the '70s and '80s, and then another four or five years here in Alabama. I found it actually held the holster closer into the body than a Jackass or Miami Vice type of rig (which I've also used quite a bit) because the heavy elastic of the X15 strap is always pulling into the body, while the others may have a leather tie-down that goes to the belt, but sit down or bend at the waist, and that tie-down goes slack leaving the holster to flop around uncontrolled.

If you already have an X15 that you're dissatisfied with, that's fine, I'm not suggesting that you should like something that doesn't work for you for whatever reason. Just relating my experiences with that design is all.

thanks for the response. I have one, just received after ordering on line. I noticed that the strap is available separately and wondered how robust it is after extended use. I do like the holster.
