Best IWB holster for 4" 1911

I recently purchased a kimber pro carry II and was wondering if anyone could recommend a comfortable IWB holster. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Crossbreed or Alien Gear holsters work reasonably well. I find that the 1911 is more comfortable to carry than a S & W, M & P. It isn't quite as thick because of the single-stack magazine.

Check out the N82 tactical, I switched from the Crossbreed Super Tuck, the N82 is much more comfortable. Be aware, there is no perfect holster for all situations, for all people.

I carry a kimber cdp pro in a galco king tuk. I just got mine from cabelas this christmas,I'm still getting use to it.A wide holster with leather high enough to cover the safety is very nice.I like my desanti owb holster better but the iwb will be my summer carry holster. A good gun belt is a must. If you can try several holsters before you buy you will save time and money. Good luck.

Thinking of a full-size clone of a 1911, and I've had excellent luck with my Nate Squared Pro for my XD-S, IWB.

Just got in a 1911 mood, all of a sudden, and have been looking at the Turkish (Tisas) 1911 A2 (enhanced) model at Bud's.

Need something that costs less than the 800-1000 bucks or more to get a custom or top of the line factory 1911.

A bit gun-shy of the Turkish arms, but still looking, nonetheless.

Looking for a 1911 under 800.00, try the ruger 1911s.Have herd nothing but good reviews. All the rugers I have had have been great.

There are several problems with N82 Tactical. If you have a Sig 1911 and the slide isn't of the traditional profile you can't buy the top of the line pro model from them. The other is simply getting them to answer the phone. I'll pass on N82 Tactical until they become more user friendly.

Dave, I had the opposite experience, I connected on my first call, and they seemed eager to answer all of my questions. The N 82 is the most comfortable holster I have worn, and I have a drawyer full, I have tried.

Thank you for everyones feedback it was greatly appreciated. I actually found a small company called gameface holsters out of chester nh. I contacted them via email and was invited to checkout their shop because i live so close to them. They have a small operation but theyre all super friendly and were able to help me figure out what would work best for me. I ended up deciding to get two holsters made from kydex, an IWB and OWB. And the best part is theyll be leather lined to protect the firearm. I havent gotten the holsters yet but ill be sure to post my review of them when they arrive.
