Which County in Nevada has the best response to an out of state resident for processing a Nevada CCW?
Also, can a non-resident apply by mail for a Nevada CCW?

You must take a CCW course IN Nevada from a certified Nevada CCW instructor. I took mine from Kurt Gepke in Las Vegas. You take your completed course paperwork to LVMPD downtown and get processed. LVMPD handles all CCW for Clark County. I had mine in 23 days. Kurt's web site is Home Page

great instructor. You have to live fire each semi auto weapon you want on your permit by make and model and caliber. Any revolver will work for revolver qualify.

You cannot apply by mail.

Elko Co. seemed to be very good when I got mine

I applied in my home town (Nye County) of Pahrump on March 31st and got it today.. about 21 days later. A whole lot faster than I was thinking it was going to take.. so it seems Nye county is rather quick.
