Best Ammo for Ruger LCP?

What is the best ammo for the Ruger LCP to not jam? The feed slide is very steep and I have frequent jamming even after polishing the feed ramp. It is easy to clear the jam but it is horrible for a concealed carry gun.

Not sure what the problem with you specific gun is, but my wife carrie the LCP and has fired 1000's of rounds at the range with not a single jam.

What rounds is she using?

What rounds does she fire? Primarily FMJ, or JHP?

I have the LCP, it has never jammed. Use Blazer Brass, Winchester, Remington in FMJ @ 95 gr.
I keep Critical Defense @ 90 gr in the gun for ccw. Have yet to have a jam.

Limp wrist will cause problems.
Have you had someone else shoot the gun ?

Agree with this, also have you made sure the magazine is fully engaged? These are known for having the mag release pushed depending on your grip of the gun.
As far as ammo, mine shoots everything but the cheap Russian stuff. Seems they use harder primers and you may have to hit it 2-3 times for the round to go off. Let me add that the Russian ammo does that in all of my 380's so it is not a problem with the gun.

After some more research with her hold on the firearm, ensuring the mag is seated, etc... send it back to Ruger.

As to ammo, I carry FMJ only now in my TCP(not the same gun I know)... don't care what brand, they all seem to work well. In a small caliber like .380acp, I feel more comfortable using FMJ to ensure 12" of penetration. I liked Speer Gold Dots too, functioned fine but I don't want to leave any more doubt with a .380acp than I have to...
