Does anyone carry the Bersa 45 for concealment?

I believe you are refering to the Bersa Thunder 45 UC pro. If so, I do not carry the 45 but I do carry the Bersa 40 UC which is the same size as the 45. The 40 carries verry nicely for concealed and will as long as you have the right holster. The bersa pro UC series (9/40/45) are all roughly the same size as the Bersa Thunder 380. All designed for concealed carry. You should have no issue carrying it concealed. If you need more info regarding all things Bersa, Then head on over to Bersa Chat Forum - The Front Page
lots of good people there and lots of good info. Good luck

Yes Sir...

For at least 5 years now....'traded' up my edc DAA compact 9mm and retired it to the nightstand drawer, and bought the T45UC. Never been sorry...Never had a malfunction of any kind with it...And I have 'tested' it pretty hard on occasion.

The all steel 9 was about the same size, but somewhat heavier on the waistline. The .45 is lighter due to the polymer frame assy.

It can SAFELY be carried in full combat battery, first round pulled off in DA mode, all following are short crisp SA pulls... The firing pin stays locked, unless the trigger is pulled all the way back, so AD's if ever accidently dropped are pretty much a non-issue. 7 rounds in mag, one in the chamber, and one extra full mag on the 'weak' side, keeps me n' mine pretty well protected.

Dollar for dollar, Bersas are one of the best SD pistols out there...

Best wishes,

FLc

I agree with the above account, All except the T45UC having a polymer frame. This is incorrect. All Bersas with the exception of the new BP9/40 CC are Aluminum Alloy frames. The polymer framed BP9/40 cc is brand new and just out this year. To my knowledge they have not produced a 45 with a polymer frame. I carry the T40 UC and it too has the Aluminum alloy frame. Almost same size and weight as the 45 and very easy to carry and conceal. And yes Bersa is a good quality Pistol which you will enjoy for a long time. Good luck with your new pistol. If you want even more information on the Bersa 45 or any other product or just general Bersa information; head on over to Bersa Chat Forum - The Front Page lot of nice folks there with a lot of good information.

Bersa makes some mighty fine firearms for the cost. I carry a Bersa Thunder (.380) on occasion. It's a comfy carry and shoots like a dream.

Standing corrected (and humbled)...My black matte T45UC (Mini, not Pro) is indeed built with an aluminum alloy frame...and not polymer as I had stated...

I purchased it NIB in Nov 04, and it has been my edc (every day carry) since. The gentleman that I bought it from, had stated that it was a polymer frame, and since it seems pretty light weight (27oz) for a big bore auto, I assumed he told me rightly.....my bad...

I still stand by the fact that it goes bang every time I pull the trigger, and I very much trust it as a SD/CC pistol.

Respectfully,

FLc
