Just wanted some input on this pistol I just picked up today. Got a he'll of a deal $250:never been shot before with two 13 round double stack magazines. Looked at some reviews all good this one a customer of mine had for 15 years older guy asked me if Iiked to shoot I said yes and he told me he never shot it before felt no need for it so I took it off his hands. If any of you have any input let me know about the pistol . Thanks

No they don't say Cheetah on the gun, and the BB is an old model.

Decent review article at My new love, the Beretta 84.

For older model used blued versions, $300-400 is about right. Nickel models are the ones going for $600-800 usually.

New ones are no longer available as Beretta stopped importing them last year unfortunately.
I have a blued 84FS that I got used (good condition) for $340 last year and am quite happy about it, though I have always wanted a nickel version as they are just absolutely beautiful when wearing wood grips.

I just spoke to the gentleman I purchased gun from he made promise not to sell it I asked him when he purchased the gun and he told me 1989 he said he never even loaded the magazine or broke it down just stayed in the soft case zippered up . I have to get use to the 1911 style of carry never had one always glocks . Already guys are offering $400 for it here at the dealership crazy. I hope when I shoot it I love it.

Make sure to break it down and give it a thorough cleaning inside and out. Hopefully it doesn't have any rust from sitting in the soft case all these years.
Most people would carry it with the hammer decocked and safety off for a double action first shot and single action follow up shots, just like a Beretta 92 or most Sigs.

That's what I been working with practicing unloaded of course . I broke it down today believe it or not it had no rust on it all. None on gun looked at bore into sunlight saw nothing. Loomed good sprayed some remind oil on it and in bore until I clean it sprayed exterior of pistol wiped off and put back in its case. My friend told me reason why no rust had decent oil and kept room temperature he had in safe also. Crazy a 25 year old gun in that shape. Hope to shoot this week. Need a good leather holster for it .
