Barack Obama is ridiculous

Ok, I'd be voting for the Republican anyway, but at least in the past I've always been able to perceive the opposition as an adult. Obama seems too much like a kid. Moreover, I get the general feeling that he's trying to charm everyone with his juvenile antics.

Hope...prosperity...some kind of totally unfounded nebulous, vaporous bunch of "it's all a new age" crap. This reminds me of the original commercial for Windows XP.

Could this guy come back in another 10, maybe 20 years or so and try again? Right now, he just seems like a total fool.

Barack Obama is ridiculous
But what is more ridculous is the fact that so many Americans would vote for him. Beam me up Scotty there is no intelligent life down here.

You're right. George Bush is always a model of decorum:

If you want substance over BS you'll have to avoid the 2 major parties.
Yeah, so Bush hasn't been particularly impressive either, but I was hoping that we as a nation could do better this time around - with both candidates.

As an opposition candidate, I kind of liked Al Gore's image...he was a bit stiff, to be sure - but that's not a bad thing. This isn't a breakdance competition. Despite his weirdness, I also liked Perot's numbers-and-charts approach to things (mostly fiscal issues).

I want my president (whoever they are) to be analytical, organized and good at handling the business of their office. They should have sound judgment, a good knowledge of history and not be either a blusterer (Bush) or a pansy (McGovern). Their ability to fit into a frat party should be a much lower priority.

I'd add: a staunch supporter of the Constitution. Don't you hate it when the two of us agree on something?

Well anything has got to be better than your current president the W. Now you have Mcbush running who is just a clone and a continuation of what is and what is to come. No insurance for low income family's, further into recession, A war for maybe another 100 years that we are paying biillions for a month in tax dollars, a guy who voted 89 percent of the time with the bush administration, more coruption, easier life for the rich and a harder life for the average joe like me that makes less than 30k a year. Sorry a maverick who claims to be conservative is not the answer for america. I forgot to metion above the highest jobless rate in 40 years probally and making our national deficit more and more.

You've got the democratic topics down pretty well--now take them somewhere you might be able to convince somebody to vote for that rights-hating morally disgusting party.

That sounds like a bunch of socialist BS to me.

My main problem with GWB is that he spends money like there's some endless pile of cash he can just pull dollars out of with no consequences. Also, he seems completely unable to control members of his administration.

I think that McCain will either divide Iraq up and let the tribes rule it, or launch a final offensive, declare victory and then leave. Whatever happens then is not our business.

I think I'd rather have a "3rd Bush Term", as B. Hussein claims than a regressive backslide to a 2nd Carter administration.

Really?!?!?!?!?! Quit spending money on Iraq, yeah, I'm with you there....but start throwing it at people not willing to move themselves up? Nope, not today. Rather than hoping someone will take care of you, why not open your eyes (and a savings account) and start taking care of your own self? I'll be you didn't know that you don't even have to have insurance. Yeah, big stuff can happen, but you get treated whether or not you've got insurance. Sick? Call the doctor & work out some pricing deals. Use that savings account you should have.

You obviously don't have a clue what a recession is, so quit spewing the Democrat drivel. Highest jobless rate? Last number I heard was around 5%....so you're saying that there are 95% of able-bodied people are actually working?

I am sorry but there will be no real change from the two major parties because they are both controlled by the same NWO elitists. The only chance we have is getting some one from a third party that is not one of their puppets elected and that seems unlikely considering the unwillingness of most Americans to look at anything but a
republicrat. We really have only one party any more with two heads. Even if we could get true patriot elected president it will still be hard to stem the tied unless we get a Senate and House made up of constitution believing members that have not sold their sole to the NWO. So look for nothing but more and more taxes to be taken and wasted on more foreign countries, wars and social give away programs.

The depression was the calculated 'shearing' of the public by the World Money powers, triggered by the planned sudden shortage of supply of call money in the New York money market....The One World Government leaders and their ever close bankers have now acquired full control of the money and credit machinery of the U.S. via the creation of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank."
Curtis Dall, FDR's son-in-law as quoted in his book, My Exploited Father-in-Law

"The people will be crushed under the burden of taxes, loan after loan will be floated; after having drained the present, the State will devour the future."
Fredric Bastiat

"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of "liberalism" they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." Norman Thomas, for many years U.S. Socialist Presidential candidate.

fact is guys Obama is not going to take our guns away. It's going to be up to the states anyways. Just like all this abortion and gay rights stuff. GWB won the 04 election off of the christian vote only on those issues. Has anything got better in 7 and going on 8 years no. Why matter of fact you can just march yourself over to california( which also has a republican gov.) and get married to a person of the same sex. I love all guns as much as anybody here and will fight to keep mine. If we get Mcbush in office non of us will even have enough money or a job to even buy guns probally. There's a good form of gun control for ya. And what does mentioning Huesein got to do with any kind of argument. It dont' matter if his name is big bird. He can't help that his dad was from Kenya Africa and probally named him after his family or heritage. You should be a mature adult and look at who he really is as a person and as a christian man and what he stands for. You were named after your family i'm sure and so was I. Final line is this country has been run in the ground. too many jobs shipped over seas, foreclosures by the thousands, huge deficit, our illegal immigrants running over our borders daily by the hundeds, and a president who claims to be fighting terrorism when he can't even control the borders. what a doof. sorry it's hard to argue with that.

I am not a fan of McCane and he may en up being a very bad president but Obama would be worse. That s why I say we will get no real good choice from either heads of our one party system. God help us because we are going to need it.

You're right.........Pardon me while I switch into "mature" mode.

B. Hussein Obama's "Christian" stances............

Most liberal senator in the U.S. Capitol in relation to guns. B.H.O. is in opposition of THE PEOPLE's right to carry or own guns & has voted appropriately

Money spent on U.S. infrastructure is less important than sending money to African despots in the name of "Fixing" AIDS

Apparently, the "rich" aren't taxed enough.......tax them more to pay for bums on welfare

Can't afford your house because you dove in over your head? Let the gummint fix that. Subsidize "subprime" mortages to keep idiots from being foreclosed upon

"Negotiating with terrorists" ........brilliant

I'm done....this is ridiculous. Any "Summers Eve product" posting on a pro-Rights website is nothing more than a troll looking to cause problems. Nobody in their right mind could ever vote for a Democrat while claiming support for the 2A.

I have officially quit taking the bait.

I didn't know all that made you not a christian Paschal. Also glock fan what am i doing different than any of you. Expressing my opinion. My bad. Also the infrastructure thing Mcbush wants to cut the gas tax that builds all of this stuff. Maybe if we would all start praying for The gays and women who are thinking about abortion instead of judging them it would help.Last but not least Clinton cut the number of people on welfare in half also the nation had a surplus and peace. Now look at what we got.
