Yes, we do. Some of us choose to earn the freedom we enjoy, some of us enjoy the freedoms that others paid for, and some choose to forfeit those freedoms for stuff or pride. Why would you show anyone that site? I do not have photographs of the death I have witnessed because it is wrong to keep it. Looking at it is disrespectful and offering it for political or personal reasons is exploitive.
The last part I quoted from you, which has a comma after it suggesting it as a singular statement, sums up you as a whole. You are unwilling to serve, or support a wife who chose to serve but yet you do want to keep your rights...you just don't think you should contribute. Oh well, your choice, but please thank my little cousin Eric for your right to be a mooch. He died fighting for it.
Just one question...my father is a huge liberal. Bloomsberg ain't got nothing on him. He disowned me for joining. I gave up a multimillion dollar inheritance to serve. I live in poverty, i might lose my house. Yet, I don't feel a single tinge of regret. People who join are independent thinkers like me. We have what is called a Force of Volunteers, highly motivated individuals who desire to fight and possibly die to protect freedom. What if your daughters change their minds and join? Will you just stop loving them? I can't wait until my kids are 18 so I can see what their choice will be. I will offer college money or a trip to the recruiter and a chance to earn it. My uncle gave me that same choice. He was Air Cav during Vietnam 68-70 and 71 when he lost his legs. Everything that wad important in life, I usually learned from him. Hooah!
Be a cold day in hell when I turn my back on my children, no matter what they become. I would love them even if they joined in with the Brady Bunch.
