This is part of an email I just received from him, along with a sales pitch about his schedule of classes.... I think he is a bit off. Especially since he goes by a "CALL SIGN" at his company like a fighter jock in the USAF, or an Army Squad leader in the field.
Are you getting tired of the same old misleading drama over James Holmes and the Century 16 Theater shooting, along with the booby trapped apartment? I think they finally got the count correct, 12 dead, 58 injured! Well, have no fear, tomorrow the Olympics open and that's all you will hear for the next three weeks. James Holmes will be buried on the back page along with Obama signing the UN Arms Treaty. The only thing main stream media will keep going is the anti-gun rhetoric.
Is it just me, or have the Olympics been lost to the same greed, power and fame of major professional sports? Just seems like a lot of hype along with the pomp and circumstances! Through recent years of terrorist and abductions, steroids and drug testing, it seems like the sport of the games has been lost. Perhaps, I'm naive, but I swear, when I was younger, the great athletes of the time, treasured their integrity, honor, and country above winning. Now it seems those principles have been thrown to the wind, and the entire focus is for the WIN. Maybe it's not fair to put it on the athletes......maybe it is more the promoters and tycoons (countries) that will profit billions from these famous games.
But back to Colorado and the infamous Century 16 Massecre! Have you noticed almost all reference to Century 16 Theaters has disappeared from the main stream media, who now refer to it as "Aurora, Colorado theater"? Century Theaters, who have a "Gun Free Zone" policy, has been sanitized from the news......wonder why? Apparently they don't do well enforcing their gun free policy!! They do well protecting their customers!!
And, how about all this anti-gun talk? Gun sales are up 41%! Are they kidding me! Maybe it's a gun shop conspiracy? A bunch of local gun shop owners get together in a smoky bar sipping fine brandy and puffing Cuban cigars. They find this dope who will go on a shooting rampage. They know the main stream media will bring out the anti-gunners, and then they can sit back and watch the sales climb through the roof!!!
As a side note, what if we started a rumor Obama was going to sign the UN Car Treaty and effective August 1st, it would be illegal to buy gas hog muscle cars like the Cadillac, Lincoln, Lexus, and big bad ass 1 ton 4x4 pickup trucks? I would venture to say, auto sales would double by next week!! What a boost to the economy......I wish I had thought of it earlier.
But back to the Colorado shooting. How many innocent people were murdered? I think none. How many innocent people were injured? I think out of 58, just 2! With my limited information, there was a 3-4 month old infant and a 6 year old girl. Maybe a couple more kids, but for the most part, all the victims were of age to be responsible for their own decisions. What were they thinking when they decided society and the government would protect them? Why would they think they were safe from a bad person while watching a stupid movie packed in a dark room like cattle in the pens of the slaughter house?
How about James Holmes? Is he a truly independent perpetrator, or a victim as well? A victim of our government masked in a deep and dark conspiracy? Did the CIA or a super secret government department plan, fund, and implement the entire shooting? Maybe so, how would I know, I'm just an old man. But if the government set up this whole thing to get support for the UN Arms Treaty.........there is one gleaming fact I can't get past......if this is a government conspiracy........why is James Holmes still alive???
Sorry folks, I'm not ready to drink the Kool-aid coming from Alex Jones, Glenn Beck, and Mike Adams. Of course there is plenty of time to have him killed in jail before he talks or perhaps he is on some secret mind altering drug. Like I said, who am I to judge? I have no inside information, only what the main stream media and internet report. There are certainly good reasons folks may buy into the government conspiracy theories.......and I wouldn't blame them if they do. But, on this one, my Missouri roots are screaming "show me" (actually George wasn't born in Missouri, he's making that part up!!!).
But back to Colorado and the infamous Century 16 Massacre! It is without reservation, my heart is heavy with sadness for the 12 dead, 58 injured, along with all their family and friends. There is no doubt I feel the pain and fear of the community. Although I elect to defend myself, I realize I have family and friends who do not always remain in that defensive mindset and who may from time to time, attend events, depend on society, and the government to protect them. At any given time, they could fall victim and I would be left to mourn the loss. There is also no doubt that James Holmes is responsible for his actions and regardless of any help from a possible conspiracy, must face the consequences of his actions.
Because I do not know any of the victims, I have the luxury of putting aside my emotions and use logic to frame the event. If we had a Century 16 Massacre every day, at the end of the year, there would be less than 15% dead, of those who die each year from vehicle crashes. I don't refer to them as accidents. How senseless can it be to die or be seriously injured in a vehicle crash?!?!? Yet, we don't refer to 30,000 dead each year in auto crashes as a massacre?!?! The majority of us are not affected or touched by these 30,000 so it's OK. After all, us Americans sure do love our cars!
But back to the Colorado shooting. One last point......so far, I have not heard of one person in that Century 16 theater, despite not being armed because of their policy, made any effort to take James Holmes down. That really strikes me as odd. It doesn't surprise me, but certainly tells a lot about what Americans have become. At least the type that will patronize a business which denies them the right to protect themselves and at the same time has no concept how to secure their customers, and will waste their hard earned money and time, watching a Hollywood fantasy! There are always going to be the like of James Holmes, out in public, preying on one fashion or the other on society. Although I feel deep sorrow, I need to balance the thoughts with this phrase......"those who refuse to defend themselves, feed off our society, dependent on others, and deserve neither freedom or security".
One last thing: What is it with the state of Colorado. Are they hell bent to be the trend leader in weird bazaar shooting events?!?!?
